Nearly lost my ring

So today after school i came home and got ready to go out with my aunty. I was listening to my music on my iPod dock when i got a message, so i went to check it. When i picked up my phone i realised my Sapphire and Diamond ring was not on my finger. I started freaking out and panicking. I retraced my steps and looked everywhere from the toilet to the bathroom, the soap holder, the scrub, under my bed and even on my street just in case i dropped it while walking home from the station. I was so scared because my parents would literally kill me! Then after about 15-20 minutes of searching like a maniac i realised that I changed my pants and got another set of jeans out. Being the lazy person i am, when i was taking out those jeans i just shoved my hand inside the wardrobe and felt around for it and when i felt it I pulled it out. During this time my ring decided to slip off my finger! Luckily it was at home i don't know how i would tell my parents i lost the sapphire and diamond ring they gave me :(

On other news my aunty took be shopping to by birthday presents for me for tomorrow =D she bought me a lovely grey coat. I was switching up between a coat and a pair of vans. Ended up getting the coat. I also bought myself a birthday present (a nebula iPhone cover and a grey jacket with a hoodie that i am in love with). I also ate a box of salmon sushi and i know feel so awful. ugh. i hope i don't get food poisoning otherwise it would be the worst birthday ever, aside from that time i spent my birthday at the hospital.

FREE MOVIE TICKETS

So yesterday as i was finishing off tutoring my tutor and I saw two cards and some paper on the table we were studying on. It was there the whole time we were there but we never looked at it but she decided to see what it was. And lucky she did because there were two free movie vouchers for event and greater union cinemas! So she took one and gave me the other one :p We thought it was fake but we read it properly and looked at it and it wasn't! So now i have a free movie ticket voucher which expires in june 2014 XD haha! I also saw a fox on the side of the road, i think it was looking for food. Never saw a fox in the wild ^^

"Vivid Sydney"

So yesterday my two best friends and I went to vivid. Let me tell you, it was nothing like we expected in all the wrong ways. So first we missed our 5:34 train . The train doors closed and Chantelle started walking down  the stairs. So we got the next train which arrived at Circular Quay at 7:20 ish. There were so many people it was like  new years eve! Everyone was pushing and shoving and it was one huge game of twister. We planned that we would see all the lights at circular quay and then have dinner and go to darling harbour. We got to see majority of circular quay and then we went looking for a place to eat dinner. All the restaurants were jam packed and the line was HUGE! We finally decided to go into an Italian restaurant and pizzeria. The experience I had there made me re-evaluate everything about sydney restaurants. The food arrived an hour late and that too after asking where it was. The people who were in front of us in the line had already eaten their meal and gone home and we were still waiting. Very disappointing. We ordered three pastas. Chantelle's was COLD, Yafa's was overdosed in chilli and mine was so hot there was steam coming out like it was on the stove. No sense of temperature regulation what so ever. We weren't the only ones disappointed, a couple were sitting to our left after hours of waiting. We spent 2 and a half hours in the restaurant, by the time we got out it was after 10 something, there was no time to go to Darling Harbour where majority of the lights were. So we started to walk to the station, we wanted to get an ice cream on the way and nearly died at the price. A billabong for $8.89. I can get two boxes with that money T_T. So we got on the train to home, or so we thought. Suddenly the train stops at Easthills and was like "train terminates here" we all ran out of the train. it was 11:15 ish and we saw the macarthur train pulling up on the other side, already half way. We never ran so fast in our lives. I bolted up the stairs with Yafa and Chantelle behind me, just as i got in front o the train it was like "doors closing please stand clear" i was about to cry, there was no one on the platform, three girls alone at 11:15 at night.  I said to the guard "can i go in" he nodded. THANK GOD! Us three got in and then he closed the door! That guy deserved an award. By the time I got home it was 11:47.
It was a completely hectic day, not what we planned but still a lovely memory. Its always these unexpected things that make it into a memorable memory. The good thing was we got a good laugh and got to spend quality time with each other.

UWS DAY

So today we (year 12) went to the UWS day to "explore our opportunities". It was quite fun actually, i expected it to be rather boring to be honest. First up we had to encounter a speech by the chancellor and  mayor and i died in the heat. The discussion time was alright, we got a different perspective of students and how they got into UNI and what they had to offer. I was looking forward to the science lecture but it wasnt as good as i had hoped. I would have rather them have current students talk about their course and so on. Lunch was the best part (yay for vegetarian menu). The uni decided to bring in reptiles YAY! (note sarcasm). This included a massive huge as snake that was sooooo thick and another thin snake which just slithered everywhere. just thinking about it makes me shiver. i really don't like reptiles. my awesome friends kept on pulling me towards them and "Daring" me to touch the snake. i think i would have died if i did. Anyways, the last part of the day was the most amusing. We booked in for "explore your future" lecture and we got lost finding the lecture hall, that was a fun experience in its self. It ended up being in the medical building. i thought the lecture would be about inspiring me about my future and where careers would take me. BUT! it was some boring as thing about statistics on how uni grads make more money and how were all bound to change our career at least 8x. I wasted four minutes of my remotely precious life. I wanted to leave but my friends didn't want to because they thought something better would happen. But my firned Kiran was with me on this one, she was as bored as i was. Its funny because Kiran and I are the most obedient goody goody's in our school. i mean i don't even chew gum in school. haha, but yeah so four minutes into this boring lecture we decided to leave. We literally ran to the lecture theatre like running was going to make it less obvious T_T. haha but yeah, it was definitely a good choice! we walked around the uni and Kiran got her arm plastered. we decided if they asked us what happened we would say that i had an asthma attack and i needed water T_T. but when we got out we saw that we went the only ones who were walking around. there were tonnes of people running around and sitting by the lake. Near the end of the day a friend of mine came to visit me at the uni which was a delight because i hardly see him.
All in all it was a pretty good day for running around and laughing .

signing off,

Same Sex Marriage

I don't understand why people are anti same sex marriage. What is so "wrong" about it? It's two people who love each other getting married. Don't we all dream of the day we can declare our love in front of the world? Then why is this only restricted to men and women. Why cant our fellow homosexual brothers and sisters share in the same dream. Put your self in the same perspective, how would you feel?
I know many politicians bring up the argument of "best interests of the child". I believe that is a shit argument. Being brought up with a mother and figure doesn't ensure best interests of the child. If so then   why do divorced couples have their children still with them? The child born to a divorced couple do not live with both the parents so how does that display best interest of the child? if it does, then in what angle is it not best interests of a child when a homosexual couple want a child? Additionally, many families have domestic violence imbedded in their relationship, surely that is not "best interest of the child". I just don't see why people wont accept them. Why are they letting others suffer? Most of the time it doesn't even affect them so why are they so caught up in making same sex marriage illegal?

If dream of a day when i can marry the man of my dreams why cant a homo sexual couple dream that too?

Jersy's

Although this is very delayed, our jerseys have arrived! (two weeks ago...)
I haven't had the time to blog in so long, mainly due to my over excessive tendency to sleep. Believe it or not i fell asleep in Earth and Environmental class two times through the documentary that was playing today and on monday. I never sleep in class, so me falling asleep in class is saying something! *cough* hsc is satan possessed *cough* haha! Week 5 is coming to a close which means there are basically only 4 more weeks till my final term aka TRIAL EXAMINATION PERIOD.
W. T.F
Time is going uber fast and I'm not ready for HSC. I have this constant guilty feel that i have not studied enough and that i wont get into my uni course. I remember in a letter i wrote to my self on the 31st of December 2012 to open on the 31st of December 2013 i wrote "i hope your happy with your atar, you got what you put in" (that sentence makes no sense at all) IHLBVBLVB HIHIC that line is haunting me! I know what i want to do, and i think i will be able to get into it, but there is still that overarching fear always at the back of my head saying "what if".

*sigh*

I honestly cant wait to move into my new room! theres a really good view of the station with all the lights from the window. The only thing that is making me reconsider is that it looks like the room the peter pan shadow from once upon a time that came to take the children away. plus i have a huge shadow stuck on my wall of peter pan and a quote form him. Now this wouldn't have been a problem if the shadow wasn't portrayed in once upon a time as a demon possessed thing that basically snatched away your life!

Anyways i really don't have much to update you guys on besides the fact that i am going to vivid sydney with my two awesome biffles next saturday. i have never been to vivid sydney despite the fact i live in sydney T_T shame on me. but this year i am going. yay! i will post up pictures here as well :)
